From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the level of service and attention to detail. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, and the chef created a meal that rivaled fine dining restaurants. The inn’s setting is serene and peaceful—away from the busy tourist areas but an easy drive to nearby "attraction towns". A perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax in comfort and style! And the Warren Store right next door is a must-visit!

The Pitcher Inn will forever be one of the most special places in our lives. We hosted our very small, intimate wedding celebration here in February 2025 after a courthouse ceremony up the road, followed by a simple cocktail-style gathering at The Pitcher. While the event itself was intentionally understated, the execution was anything but. Doing “simple” this well takes extraordinary planning and care—and that’s exactly what we experienced. Jim led the service team with incredible skill and warmth. Everything ran seamlessly, and his leadership extended far beyond the event itself—he made sure our entire two-night stay after the wedding was just as flawless. It felt like nothing was too small or too big to be handled with care. Sergiu, Shanay, Jannielle, and Zee brought such joy and energy to the experience. They kept things light, fun, and engaging, and our guests genuinely loved connecting with them. The atmosphere felt relaxed and celebratory because of who they are, not just what they do. On our departure day, Sergiu and Zee even treated us to coffee and pastries across the road—a small gesture that perfectly captures how thoughtful and generous the team is. The food was an absolute 12/10. Chef Jacob and the kitchen team—Marine, Arra, Cem, Ervin, and Stella—created dishes that every guest raved about. Not a single plate went back, and they went out of their way to accommodate a gluten-free request for just one guest with the same level of care as every other dish. The cake, created by head baker Jordan, was stunning—truly magazine-worthy and just as delicious. Behind the scenes, Caitlin made everything feel effortless. I didn’t stress once. She took what I needed completely off my plate, made decisions easy, and even stepped in to make choices for me when needed. That kind of calm confidence is priceless, especially during a wedding. Beyond the wedding, The Pitcher Inn is where we always choose to go when we have the chance for a Vermont staycation. It’s not just the property—it’s the people. Justin, Betsy, and the entire team consistently make us feel known, welcomed, and genuinely cared for every time we return. We sincerely hope that all of the staff who travel from elsewhere to work at The Pitcher during the winter months continue to come back year after year. The magic of this place is created by the people who bring it to life, and we are endlessly grateful for every one of them. We already can’t wait for our next stay—and maybe even a vow renewal someday, just for an excuse to celebrate here again.

We visit The Pitcher Inn every year at Tracks downstairs to spend time with local friends casually, get a good craft cocktail and enjoy the atmosphere. This year was great as we called ahead and Geoffrey was extremely accommodating for our larger than normal group of 12 for happy hour. While our family wishes the pool table and shuffleboard were still available (and the fire was lit) we also understand. Still. Amazing place with amazing staff serving amazing things. Thank you so much for being part of our Vermont experience.

We had a fabulous visit at the Pitcher Inn. Everyone was personable, attentive, and professional. No details were missed or overlooked. We were greeted warmly and by name when we arrived. On the recommendation of staff, we booked and stayed in the Trout Room. The aesthetic of the room is extraordinary, constructed of natural wood planking, logs, and timbers. Our meals were excellent. Service was flawless. We had some of our breakfasts across the street at the Warren Store, and some at the Pitcher Inn. Like the Inn, everyone at the store was delightful and attentive. Thank you to everyone at the Pitcher Inn for making our week special and memorable. It's a long drive for us, and was absolutely worth it. We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful Inn located in Warren. We usually visit once or twice a year, usually during ski season. Always for dinner, never used the lodging. This year we came during Autumn for fall foliage. The restaurant was closed so we ate in Tracks, the lounge. Tracks is accessed by a simple door off the lobby of the Inn. Down a staircase and through a cave like stone passage. Very unique. The bar and lounge open to a garden area. We sat in the leather sofa by the fireplace. Very cozy and charming. We enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the sofa seating. Started with Caesar Salad, the Corn Chowder Soup, followed by a Roll. All the plates were good, but the Chowder was the highlight. Highly recommend. This is one of the few higher style and intimate experiences in the area. Unfortunately they closed the pool table and game area. A disappointment as we used to end our night having drinks and playing shuffle board. Visited again this year and we were able to eat in the restaurant. It was excellent! Highly recommend. Every aspect of the meal was spot on. Returned again this year. Another good meal. Great service.

The Pitcher Inn's Main Dining Room is a very special place! From Chef to all staff, the team offers excellent service. The dining room, preparation of food, and attention to guests is meticulous. We have loved our time in the beautiful dining room. The space is so elegant and simple at the same time. Every dimension and characteristic has been thought about and flows together as a thoroughly memorable experience. We know of very few places like The Pitcher Inn. Thank you for your commitment to excellence!

Elegant property in a stunning setting. Staff is so attentive. The Warren Store across the street is also darling. Been going there for years and never disappoints. We ate in the Main dining room at the Inn and it was delicious. So much to do in the area.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at the Pitcher inn. It was negative temps so didn't ski as much as planned but had a wonderful relaxing time sitting by the fire at the Inn. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive and the food was fantastic!
